Cleaning Up Maishima Ryokuchi Park
Grade 5, 6, and 8 join forces to help cleaning up our community! As part of Emre's 6th grade exhibition project, he chose a wonderful method of taking action to help our Earth. Students in each grade worked together to pick up as much trash as they could. We used tongs, gloves, and trash bags to more efficiently remove the many pieces of rubbish that were left behind by others. It was a beautiful day and a great opportunity to put into practice everything we've learned about caring for our environment.
Back at school students took time to reflect on their experience and how they can take action in the future. Here are some highlights of our day:
